I've sold cards to many people now, since I first started back in 2004 I think. The buyers have sent my cards to many other countries, like these: USA, Czhech Republic, France, UK and Australia. Unfortunately I didn't have a website from the start, so some of the ones in these countries, don't know who made it. I just hope they can find back to me, and tell me what they think.
If you get a card from me, please send me a note and tell me how you thought of it, or use the contactform here.

Greeting card to Jon and Audny!
This card is for the hubby and wife, celebrating an 80 yrs birthday together, that's why the # 160. The banner for handball, is because Audny played handball in her younger days, and Jon was a skate-runner. One day Audny was so annoyed that Jon didn't show up for dinner - again, so in fury, she put his skates on the dinner plate. That's the story of the picture. They had a great laugh when they got that card, and they remembered the 'good ol' days'. They've also lived in Australia for some years. |

A Christening card for a baby girl:
A Christening card for Eline. Her aunt has a farm with Tinker horses, and one of her mares just had a foal at that time. I tried my best to draw her horse and foal, and I painted the drawing to make it look-alike the real horse. This front is hand drawn and painted by myself.

 Greeting card for Vicky!
A greeting card for Vicky, my granny's friend since they went to school, celebrating her 85th anniversairy. She loves to read about famous people and the gossip-magazines - though she never buys them herself. She gets them from another friend, who buys them. That's why they're hidden behind there lol. And she won't admit to anyone that she reads them I heard. (that goes for lots of Norwegians, that magazine, ''Se og Hør'' (Look and Listen) - nobody buys it, but still they're the most selling magazine in Norway!) |

 Greeting card for my dad
My dad was 63 and I'd just been practising the art of 'teabagfolding', so I thought I'd impress my daddy with giving him my very first fold of this kind of medallion. The original pattern is shown in the lower left corner, it's a 'Celtic Knot', in a beautiful blue colour.
If you thin these medallions would be nice to make yourself, you can easily make them and fold them. If you 're looking 4 motives to fold, just take a look to this site I just recently found; there you can also quickly learn by clips to watch how to do diff'rent kinds of medallions, and the owner of that site is also so very kind to share with us all, so many great tiles/templates to copy and print for free. If you visit her site, please also sign up for her newsletters, to learn more, and check out all her videos on Youtube, to get more ideas and inspiration! Here's her site: Paperprintables! I'm so thankful for that site, and for the owner of the site, who took the time to make a video of a star I was wondering about how to fold! Appreciated so very much! |

Greeting card for Karl Fredrik (aka Kalle)
Another greeting card for my uncle, request by his mom (my Granny) - this story is from back when he was just a child: Granny, his mom, was making some cakes, (in Norwegian they're called 'lapper', kinda waffers, but not made of quite the same recipe, and not in a waffer's iron either, only on a frying pan or a big plate, and they're round).. ok, His mom told him and his younger brother to have some in advance, and sit and have a good time under the table with the cakes. After a while, he asked his mom, 'Can we have some more, please, we forgot to have a good time' ..
I draw by hand that story, the mother standing in the kitchen, making the cakes, and one of the boys under the table eating, while the other stands behind the mom with an empty plate, asking for more cakes, because they forgot to enjoy and have a good time ..lol.. |

 Greeting card for Berit
A greeting card for my auntie, celebrating her 60th anniversary. My mom's sister, and this card illustrates a story from their childhoood; The two young girls coloured their hair with black ink, to be like the bigger girls. Their father never liked much that they put on any make-up, so they did this in secret. They walked down the street, thinking they looked fancy, and cool. Unfortunately it started raining too... and the black ink mixed with water.. yes you know what happens.. But their father was returning from work, so he saw these two girls and how they looked, with black ink pourning down from their heads, a bit embarrassed that his daughters looked like that, so he was angry and told them to get back home to wash off that look! He followed them on his moped/motorbike and chased them back home. It's all there except the rain, I remembered after I'd given it away, but the card was a hit, they all laughed and remembered the episode!

 Greeting card for 'tullemor'
A special greeting card, it's requested from my Granny to give to her sister. She's called her 'tullemor', since her sister was a kid. 'Tullemor', means little mother/lady.. I'll tell you the story of this picture and card: The two sisters, were going on a voyage by boat, Stavanger-Newcastle-Stavanger. During the night the fire alarm goes off, and all passengers need to meet up, and leave their cabins. The sisters meet up in their night gowns, only carrying with them their purse. After being informed that it was a false alarm, they went back to their cabin. Just to find out that they'd forgotten their key indoors of the cabin. There they stood in their night gowns trying to get in. That was a moment they cherished for always. While I'm writing this, 'Tullemor' is about to leave for her very last journey in life. I'm sorry, she was a lovely lady, always sweet and kind. Thx 4 great memories! Just been to her funeral today, 11. Feb. 2010. Thx 4 now. |
